Our mission
Teachers shouldn't have to pay for their own classroom.
By Teacher Resource Haven Editorial Team · Educators and former K-12 classroom teachers
Teacher Resource Haven exists for one reason: every teaching resource and every donated classroom supply that's already free on the internet should be easy to find — in one place, in one search.
We don't host the materials. We don't gate them behind logins. We use AI to scan the open web in real time, filter out paywalled and low-quality results, and put the genuinely free stuff in front of you.
What we believe
- Free means free. No “free trial.” No “free with subscription.” Just free.
- Search before you sign up. You should never need an account to look.
- Teachers know best. The product gets better when you tell us what's missing.
Who runs Teacher Resource Haven
Teacher Resource Haven is an independent, teacher-founded project based in the United States. It is built and maintained by a small team of educators and former classroom teachers who kept spending their own money on supplies and got tired of it. We are not affiliated with any school district, publisher, or donation platform, and no company pays us to be listed. You can reach the team any time at hello@teacherresourcehaven.com or through our contact page.
How we vet programs
Results come from two places. Curated results — the ones marked Verified Free Program — are hand-checked by a human before they are added. We confirm three things: the program is genuinely free to the teacher, it is currently accepting applications or requests, and it does not require crowdfunding or a purchase to participate. Programs that quietly go dormant or start charging are removed.
Everything below the curated section comes from a live AI-assisted web search. Those results are filtered to strip out paywalled downloads, teacher wishlists, and “free trial” offers, but they are not individually reviewed by us — always confirm eligibility and availability on the provider's own site before applying. If a listing is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
How the site is funded
Teacher Resource Haven is free to use and free to search. We cover hosting and search costs with a single, clearly labeled advertisement at the bottom of search-results pages. Ads never appear on the homepage, between results, or on our contact, about, or policy pages, and advertising has no influence on what ranks or what gets verified. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
What's next
Phase 2 will add optional premium features for power users — but the core search will always be free. Phase 3 will bring district and school subscriptions for shared collections and reporting.

Teacher Resource Haven Editorial Team
Teacher Resource Haven's guides are written and reviewed by our editorial team — educators and former K-12 classroom teachers who research teacher grants, free-supply programs, and classroom funding full time.
